Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is an American actress, singer as well as a former model. She is best known as the star of the 1984 Prince Purple Rain film and lead vocalist in the girl group Apollonia 6 In the 80s, the actor-singer Prince named Apollonia became just one of many female artists that gained by their connection with Prince. The album, R&B/Dance, which was rather pedestrian and failed to leave a lasting impression on those who bought music at the period, was quickly wiped out. Throughout the decade that followed the singer-songwriter remained an active actress, playing minor roles in films as well as small television shows. In 1997, Apollonia recorded a bilingual album in Spanish and English entitled Stay with me. She returned to the school, received a diploma in filmmaking.
