Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actor as well as a performer. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actor and singer. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish as well as Scottish (father). Kristen was already a skilled entertainer in the early stages. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell 13, who was 13 when her mom signed up for an agent, was also cast in ads on newspapers and TV. She also started taking private acting classes at the age of 13. Bell had a minor role that was not credited to her for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club as well as the drama club. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the role of the lead Dorothy role. Bell attended New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts for a musical theater course after graduation. Bell, who graduated in 2001, left her studies at the university to play in the role of Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credits in Pootie Tang in 2001. Her scene, however cut, and her appearance only appears in the end credits. Bell appeared together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
