Lizzo

LizzoLizzo was part of a rock group called Prog where she sang, and occasionally played the flute. Her family had relocated to Denver and she was all on her own while she attempted to start her career in Houston. Lizzo lived in her car and would sometimes sleep on the floor of her recording studio. She also made use of her gym to shower in the gym. Lizzo's father passed away at the age of twenty-one. The two were close and it was a devastating loss. Lizzo left the band in 2010, following her father's passing. After a brief stop in Denver in 2010, Lizzo moved to Minneapolis upon the request of a friend in the year 2011. Then she became part of the Minneapolis music scene. She was part of the girl groups Chalice and GRRRL PRTY. Her debut album, Lizzobangers, came out in 2013 under an independent label.
