Jill Hennessy

Her heritage is mixed, including Irish italians, Swedish, Italians, French, Ukrainians and Irish. Jacqueline is the twin sister of her and an actor. Growing up, Jill became fluent in different languages such as Italian, French and Spanish. Her interest in acting around the age of 12. She began her acting career in Toronto as part of David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers playing an escort with his twin sister. When she began studying improv with Deb Kimmet in Second City, she began her acting career in Toronto. After a few years, she made the move back to New York and signed a deal as Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the long run of the hit show, Law & Order. In the time the actress was in New york working on film projects that featured feature actors like RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1996) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Her work was featured in a couple of dull films throughout the next months, and then landed her a leading role in the miniseries uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Roles in major productions including Autumn in New York and Exit Wounds followed. She landed a lead role in the NBC crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007, for her contribution to the series she was recognized by Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Lead in a Drama Series". She got married in 2000 to her co-star Paolo Mastropietro. The couple has two children. She was inducted to Canada's Walk of Fame in 2007. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
